For centuries Flokati Rugs have been made by the Vlachs people from the Pindus Mountain range in Northern Greece. Our rugs are still made of genuine 100% Greek Wool and are hand woven by Greek craftsmen. The pure sheep’s wool is spun into loops and then cut to specific sizes. To produce the soft fluffy feel the rugs are taken to mountain waterfalls where they are placed into cold water after being woven.

Traditionally, these rugs were offered as gifts, and used as wall hangings or laid on top of a bed. A flokati rug can last a lifetime provided it is well maintained.
